'Copy Listing' isn't copying all details

When I copy a listing, some of the details still need to be added.

Brand Name, External Product ID, Quantity, Price and Images still all need to be added. In regards to the images, they show up, but when saving the listing they disappear, so images all need adding each time even though I only want to change the main image.

It really slows me down. Does anyone else have this issue, or a solution?

Thanks

Yes, I get this too and the image problem. It is sometimes quicker just to create a new product page. There are a lot of bugs in Amazon's systems.

Hi @Seller_540qgZMXuuXdD,

Thanks for reaching out.

The Copy Listing feature is designed to carry over most product attributes from the original listing, with the exception of the Contribution SKU and Product ID. The other fields you mentioned (Brand Name, Quantity, Price) and the image issue you're describing are not expected behavior.

I'd recommend the following steps:

  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try the Copy Listing function again.
  • Try using a different browser to rule out any browser-specific issues.
  • If the issue persists, contact Seller Support and provide them with:
  • The original SKU/ASIN you're copying from
  • Screenshots showing the missing fields and the image issue upon saving

Have you already reached out to Seller Support about this? If so, could you share the Case ID so we can look further into it for you?
