Online arbitrage on generic listing
hello,
so i live in a country where i cant do retail arbitrage or online arbitrage assuming i source from any other place then alibaba. now the only option for me is to source products from alibaba and sell on amazon, i dont have a big budget and i wanna sell so i chose online arbitrage, can i find good selling generic listings on amazon and then search for the similar product on alibaba and then put my offer on that generic listing and send units?

There's no point to just jumping on others generic listings. it becomes a race to the bottom.
How about brings special products from you country to the Amazon marketplace?

Not very clear what you are intending to do.
Are you going to order from alibaba first and get some merchandise in your possession? Or do you plan on ordering from alibaba once you receive an amazon order?

BOTH will get you in Section 3 trouble when you are faced with an IP, counterfeit, or authenticity complaint. Receipts will not solve those complaints. Ai#$@$$ will be receipts or Proforma "invoices" that Amazon has a REAL problem with.
As @invalid_username says, try to find things that are unique to your local economy and are not represented (or are scarce) on Amazon. There is a MUCH better chance of not getting suspended.

No ... even on an existing listing that is Generic, the item needs to be the SAME item (not just similar).
Now ... if it is the SAME item but a different color or size, then it could be listed as a variation.
Past forum seller's experiences tell us that this is not going to work out well for you.
