Rude - Vulgar - Swear Words in Product Title
Hi All,
I’ve tried getting an answer from SS and its going no where with a standard message its been forwarded internally but no indication that they will get back to me with the ticket closed.
This should be simple to answer but unable to find anything relevant in Amazon documentation if one is to list an item with a rude, vulgar/swear word in the title.
I assume that it is allowed given the many mugs, t-shirts etc which have something like that on them.
My issue is whether this constitutes being an adult item which I don’t think it should be the case and if it is an adult item i.e. a mug with a swear word on it then I assume it would be supressed in search etc?
Any knowledge of the subject is most appreciated!

Any title with a swear, rude, vulgar word in the title will most likely be removed or suppressed
Obviously chances are the product itself will have it on the picture and you could list the rude words you want found in the keywords rather than title
Amazon should be an 18+ site for searches but remember it’s actually not and there are younger people seeing these items

Thanks for the inputs! I agree that the best course of action would be not to include any of the vulgar words in the title or description as those would probably be picked up by the bots and supressed. I’m going to just let the product photos speak for themselves!
