How can i deregister for UK VAT on Amazon please?
Hi,
Due to a huge hit in business on Amazon since the lockdown lift my business has fallen below the UK Vat threshold of £83K. Do i just remove my VAT number on Amazon or do i need to do more. I imagine by removing it Amazon will have a hissy fit and ask that i prove it by jumping through 3 impossible hoops. Thanks for your help

Are you a UK resident ?
If so, you need to officially deregister with hmrc and once its complete, you remove your vat registration number from amazon - they may just request your vat deregistration certificate

Thank you for the reply. Yes im a UK resident. HMRC have accepted my deregistration with an email reply. Do they actually send a certificate of deregistration? Thanks for your time.
