Amazon not charging purchaser shipping and charging me (FBA orders)
Hi guys,
I’ve noticed quite regularly that my profit for a sale is in minus, and on further investigation I see that even though the right price has been charged I have for some reason been charged the shipping costs. I don’t mean FBA costs, I mean SHIPPING.
Has anyone else noticed this before? Seems incredibly WRONG to me, considering I’m paying FBA fees as well??

Can you show the breakdown for the item?

Usually that happens for abroad order.
We had to increase our prices in all EU marketplaces to cover the extra cost of FBA from UK to EU as all our stock is in UK warehouses.

As someone who participates in Amazon’s FBA Export program, I can often see having the shipping cost debited out of the order total but Amazon should definitely reimburse you within no more than 45 days.
Otherwise, you could open a case with the Seller Support requesting to have the funds credited back.

Thanks @Kika, that’s good to know.
However, in my experience they more often than not “forget” to reimburse sellers. I had times where I was claiming back £400-600 of fees/returns, etc, that they should have paid us back automatically, but didn’t. I think on one day it was £1000! This is of course for backdated things. But my complaint here is that they just seem to be giving us more and more admin to do. We sell a lot (units of 4000+ a month), so having to chase them for things they should be doing to make things right leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth. I want to build the business, not spend all my time chasing them to fix something that they should have done in the first place… So frustrating at times. I really do have a love hate relationship with Amazon.
