Cant Change FNSKu to Manufacturer Barcode...X00 to B00?
I have my own Products with their own manufacture Barcodes, when I have converted my SKU’s to Fulfilled by amazon it automatically says I have to use Amazon Barcodes. Ive contacted Amazon several times and they said my items are restricted but don’t say why, My settings for FBA are to use Manufacture barcodes by default …anyoneknow how to create B00 FNSKU rather than X00 ?
After further investigation we have found that, ASIN: +++++++++++ is restricted from using manufacturer barcodes.
In order to be processed at the fulfilment centre, this product must be labelled with an Amazon barcode. This applies to all sellers of this ASIN without an exception.

Not all products are eligible to use manufacturer barcodes and so must use FNSKU labels. FNSKU labels can also be mandatory if there have been account issues. Obviously can’t say why that may be the case for whatever product you’re talking about.
I don’t think there are FNSKUs starting with B0 - at least none of mine are and it is ASINs that tend to start B0.

Also this product is footwear, so each colour and size has its own EAN …

I know I can label them myself but I have over 3000 pairs that I want to send in and as you can imagine I’d rather use the manufacturer barcode than print and attach FNSKU labels. Amazon totally unhelpful and keep referring me to the same articles without any real information about the problem with these ASINS…

Hi There - did you make any progress on this. I have had exactly the same experience although I am the Brand Owner and sole vendor so there is no reason I should not be eligible, The product is a smallish paper good - nothing special about it.
They say "
Regarding your concern, I have verified all the details and found that all of the ASINs are eligible for manufacturer barcode. When you choose the option “Who Labels Units”, you are being ask to print the Amazon barcode because currently all these listings are created the Amazon barcode which starts with FNSKU X00 however FNSKU should be start with B00.
Please do not worry about it. As you have existing listings with X00 at the start of your FNSKUs, you will need to delete you SKUs and recreate the listing with an FNSKUs of B00.
Note: Deleting SKUs will delete all catalog information as well so the seller will need to populate their product information as well.
Once you will done with above step, you will not need to label your products and they will be proceeded ahead with sticker-less feature. If you face any kind of difficulties then please contact us with error screenshots. "
They say “delete your listing and recreate with a B00 FNSKU” - however as you say, I cannot choose the FNSKU and I see no way to do choose the FNSKU or ensure it is not another X00. These must have been auto assigned when I converted them.
Want to solve this as otherwise new fees come in in November and its just aa watse of time and money.
Anyone got any ideas.
