Royal Mail delivery scan - one step forward, two steps back?

Just when I thought the Royal Mail had increased their (delivery) scan rate, I’m finding an increasing amount of mail bought through Amazon Buy Shipping (CRL) lately is failing to get the final scan. I thought the RM were improving this service… sigh

Regardless of where you buy the postage, only approx 80-85 % will get a delivery scan - amazon bought ones don’t get treated any differently to C&D bought postage

However, as they are through amazon, you should still be on 100% vtr, obviously INR will still be an issue

We put a little red sticker on every item we ship, thanking the postie for scanning on delivery.

Since then, our VTR has gone up from 94% to 99%.

We print these on 27 up labels, the same ones we use for FBA barcodes.

Yep, it was mainly our LLs that weren’t being scanned, even though we sent them all signed for. The labels have helped.

It’s a shame RM got rid of the Signed For flash labels.
