Hello @Seller_8m2Vs6OC510lL
Carrier shipping correction charges are charges from the carriers that Amazon passes through to sellers. They are based on differences between the information on the shipping label and the carrier-audited package information. Please note that adjustments can be for either outbound or return shipments.
These adjustments are usually processed in batches, as you are seeing.
You can view these adjustments in seller central by checking your Transaction View > Transaction Type: Shipping Services and looking for Adjustments. Any disputes of carrier adjustments must be submitted to seller support. I recommend including product details, photos, or any other information in support of the dispute. If you share a Case ID, I can review the adjustments/dispute and determine if there is any additional path for appeal.

Has anyone noticed when the customer returns an empty box to you that NO credit is given for the package being underweight? We are charged the price of the outgoing weight/parcel size.
I have not seen adjustments for UPS packages. Ontrac actually has been giving credits here and there, no deductions. USPS is the culprit for us. Over $1,423 on this payment alone. All USPS charges, most for items that are the exact weight and size as the package shipped. Over $1,000 a few payments back. We haven't found any adjustments bigger than a few dollars but it appears that the adjustments made are from RETAIL postage cost, not the discounted rate offered by Buy Shipping or our discounted USPS rate.
It is absolutely happening in batches as we are shipping the same products in the same packages for nearly 10 years without problems and only see these large "other expense" charges every few checks.
Amazon will not do anything nor will USPS.
We have sent photographs of numerous packages proving the weight and box size to USPS but they do nothing. All USPS parcels run through a giant machine that measures weight and package size and compares to tracking. They say the machine gives them the final numbers and it can't be wrong.
At least the additional $0.30 that Amazon used to add to all postage for declared value is no longer showing but we all know that Amazon sells us postage at a much higher rate than USPS gives it to them for so my opinion would be that Amazon is pocketing some of this as well.

I have seen over $750 dollar over the last 3 days. Dated back to May. How come they can go back that far. It is crazy and really no way to dispute because of how long it has been. We are all stuck with this craziness for the last 4 months this has been the new thing and draining me.

We also are seeing adjustments coming through from months ago from the carriers. Amazon is in cahoots with them. Both are able to steal tens of millions monthly and this problem has been ongoing without any answers from mods/support, each case is "transferred" and each forum thread is given a scripted reply.
Neither the carrier or Amazon will take responsibility.
Sellers reporting $5,000 + adjustments while the carriers audited weight and size match that given by the seller, how is any of this legal? Here's your answer, it isn't.

I have been charged over 3000.00 in the last 2 weeks. I have about 10,000 or more "other fees" /shipping adjustment. I have opened like 8 cases that got transferred. No email no answer. When you purchase a label through amazon and put in the correct measurements and weight there should be no other charges. About a year and a half sgo my sales on Amazon was 100,000.00 my other fees were anout 150.00 now my sales are 3400.00 and my other fees are 3800.00. Im loosing money, I cant get any answers. Quite obviously Amazon is getting a kick back. If I cant get my money back Im done. Ill go to Ebay, Walmart ect. Amazon has made it where you absolutely cant stay in business and refuse to stand behind their sellers on shipping they charged them for

I used to get one shipping adjustment charge every week or so but lately I've been seen multiple adjustment charges daily. No clue what's going on and can't get any answers from Seller Support. Wish I knew what the heck was going on because all these charges are quickly adding up and eating away at my profits. Very frustrating.

My account was hit in the last 2 days with 67 non sense shipping adjustment's.
I opened a case after randomly reviewing some of them. My findings were that all adjustments were related to a small tub products I placed inside a 9" x 6" envelopes. When selected the package dimension in those orders, I selected L: 9" x W: 6" x L:1".
Well well well read below the Seller Support explanation which still I can't fully understand because basically they have doubled my shipping cost for those 67 orders:
Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
From your correspondence, we understand that you are facing issue with the Adjustment fee on the order ID's.
Please be informed,
We've reviewed your ID and have found that the dimensions and weight you have provided for this order was [9 X 6 X 1 IN] and the carrier audited dimensions and weight for this item is [9.0 X 1.0 X 6.0 IN]. You were charged for the difference in the package [weight or dimensions]. USPS uses the greater of the actual weight or dimensional weight when charging for a shipping label. Dimensional weight is calculated by (LxHxW)/166 for outbound and return shipment.
USPS runs packages in their network through the Automated Package Verification System [APV]. This system helps them to verify the accurate weight, dimensions, service type, origin zone, destination zone, and so on. If USPS determines that you underpaid or overpaid for postage, or used a different package or service from what you entered when buying your label, they will automatically charge or credit your Amazon account for the difference. Amazon does not reimburse sellers for chargebacks due to carrier's policies adjustments
