Weird Amazon Search Results the Last Few Days?
Has anyone else noticed some really weird search results on Amazon the last few days? If I search for one of my product’s main keywords, I get some really random results for the organic results (products that are in no way related to the main keyword I searched) but then all the sponsored results are relevant products. Maybe a random blip in the algorithm?

I’ve always found Amazon search results a bit weird so nothing new really.

Yes I’ve noticed this too. My product doesn’t show up even when I search for just the name which is just 2 words. The products that come up don’t even have those 2 words. Yet all my competitors with sponsored ads show up which is outrageous I hope they fix this soon. Too much favoritism to sponsored products as it is without this going on

This has been happening for years - it is anything but new, and I have been providing Feedback to Amazon on this since I first noticed it.
Predicatably, like all Feedback that is supplied to Amazon, they ignore it - which is why the Seller Blogs are so full of negativity.
They have their agenda - and nothing else matters.
Like the daily Seller Opinion window that appears every weekday - what a waste of time that is.
What purpose does it serve?
They think (kind of like that Trump fella) they are invincible, and try to convince their Sellers that even when they are beaten, they are really winning!
The real facts are that the Amazon website is antiquated, and very, very badly managed.
It is full of inconsistencies, errors, ommissions, duplications, and irrelevant details, etc.
It needs a TOTAL revamp - but I suspect that any of that is beyond the abilities of the current Amazon heirarchy, if all the eveidence to date is anything to go by.
Meanwhile, we do our best, hoping that one day things will change for the better - knowing better than to hold our breath, waiting…
