EXTERNAL PRODUCT ID NOT RECOGNISED
I have been selling these two products on Amazon for many years.
I have just gone in to update a new photo to each product and it wont let me save.
It says there is a problem with the EXTERNAL PRODUCT ID (which I have not touched) which I have to fix.
It says - Value does not satisfy ISBN/UCCID checksum requirements for attribute 'externally_assigned_product_identifier'. The value specified does not meet the minimum requirement of 13 characters.
What do I do as this section is locked? I haven't changed anything and yet it is now broken.
Can anyone help?

Hello @Seller_xLffaMcg75gFi,
Thank you for posting on Forums!
This is Sarah with Amazon.
Have you tried to reach out to Seller Support regarding this issue? If yes, could you please share the Case ID?
Kind regards,
Sarah.

I'm having a very similar issue where it wont let me edit my listing without changing the EXTERNAL PRODUCT ID. These are barcodes and I have checked with GS1 if there are any issues but there are no issues. Amazon will not allow me to confirm any changes unless I change the EXTERNAL PRODUCT ID. It allows me to change the EAN to ASIN and input the product ASIN but I'm concerned that my products wont be recignised by their EAN barcode. This only seems to be an issue with FBM SKUs as my FBA SKUs for the same ASINs dont have these issues as they all seem to have the ASIN as the EXTERNAL PRODUCT ID. This is happening on all my ASINS, can someone please confirm how to fix the issue?
Regards
Darryl
