Premium Shipping questions
Hi all,
I'm hoping for some help please with regards to the Premium Shipping (NOT Prime) service..
I have Royal Mail Tracked services linked to my Amazon account (Buy Shipping). I now want to offer One-Day and Two-Day Premium shipping..
1/ What would be an acceptable additional charge for this service? I was thinking £2.99
2/ Do you have to dispatch on weekends?
3/ I only use Royal Mail. Is there a danger of Royal Mail not being an option in Buy Shipping?

With answers to your questions
1) I charge £9.99 for next day delivery and £4.99 for second day delivery. £2.99 is a fine charge but make sure you are not out of pocket once you have added on your additional charges such as Amazon Fees
2) No you don't have to despatch on weekends but if you choose next day delivery Amazon expect you to deliver on a Saturday and most couriers charge a premium for guaranteed next day delivery. Tracked 24 is not always the best option for next day delivery as RM can take 1-2 working days to deliver. I use Royal Mail Guaranteed next day delivery.
3) If you have a RM business account linked to Amazon you will have your tracked 24/48 services which can be used for premium shipping. Note that tracked 48 is allowed but Royal Mail don't always meet the delivery promises on this.

To add to my earlier questions..
I have just renegotiated my Tracked prices with Royal Mail (which are active from today), but unfortunately Buy Shipping is still showing the OLD prices. Does anyone know how long it takes before pricing updates to Tracked services are showing in Amazon Buy Shipping? Although the new prices are live via Click & Drop, I am concerned I will be charged the (old) prices in Amazon Buy Shipping? Thanks
