Brazil Market I did not sign up for
Today Brazil is one of my marketplaces. It was not this morning. I did not sign up for Brazil. This is crazy. Is this happening to other people as well?
I typed in my brand at the Brazil Amazon page and six of my items came up. Four that I keep in FBA and two books.
I checked my inventory for Brazil and it says I have zero. So how is my stuff showing up on Brazil Amazon if I have zero listings??
Last summer (a year ago) Amazon started a wonderful program where our FBA items were automatically listed on Canada Amazon. We, the sellers, do not have to do anything, if an order comes in an Amazon warehouse gets it to a Canada Amazon warehouse and it's off to the customer and all I do is deposit $20 every couple of weeks, or whatever the amount is.
Does anyone know ... is this the same program for Brazil? Or since I have some listings showing up are they supposed to be FBM? I do not want to sign up for Brazil FBM. I shipped to Brazil years ago when selling on another site, but that was way before the international shipping costs exploded. Actually I don't want to sign up for Brazil FBA either, not unless it's a program like they have for Canada ... where we just do normal shipments to US FBA and then Amazon deals with the distribution.
Sorry, but I can't find any information on this anywhere. I figured out finally how to turn Mexico completely off. Do I need to do that for Brazil? I'm so afraid I'm going to wake up and have an order.
Thank you in advance for your time.

It is a little known fact of geography that Brazil is on the North American continent. According to Amazon that is. It was added to the North American Unified account. Apparently all those globes and atlases have it wrong.
There is nothing you can do about it. Yes, many sellers had it foisted on them as well. Put the Brazil platform on vacation. Do not allow any synchronization between the four "North American" platforms.

Hello @Seller_52pUzzgnsLDGs
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.
@Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6bl is correct, the Brazil store is categorized under Americas region so if you registered the account for that region, that may be why you are seeing Brazil as one of your registered stores. Please ensure that you do not have any listings showing as active for that store and you can go ahead and set it to inactive/vacation.
Please feel free to update this thread if you need additional assistance.

We went to our account settings and put Brazil on vacation/inactive. Our experience selling in Brazil has been ruthless, corrupted, and expensive to deal with. We're not interested whatsoever. There's just some places not worth even thinking about, we tried it several times through Ebay over the years, and most packages were stolen, claimed smashed, wet, you name it. Which is all possible/probable. If we add up all our Brazil sales versus what it cost us in time dealing with issues, refunds, etc it was a total loss.
