FBA repackaging and refurbishment services

Where can I find detailed information on this program?

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/201505310#GUID-8474FC7D-5BA0-4D32-9190-3BDE566B9266__SECTION_F4AF97E96D044B92803747D11380BA39

This page is all I can find but there is very little information about the program.

Specifically, is there Fees associated with repacking and refurbishment?

Assuming this setting is turned on and starts running, is there a report available to show which items were successfully repackaged or refurbished?

No charge for repackaging, but we really wish we could turn it off. Amazon has a bad habit of repacking items that have been used by the customer (and have paint on them) and sending them back out to customers as new. This, of course, leads to unhappy customers and negative feedback.

Amazon, if you're reading this, please allow sellers to turn off repackaging! You might think you're reducing reverse logistics costs, but you're just increasing the number of replacement orders that have to be sent out and raising the Negative Customer eXperience rate.

P.S., VVIVID, we use your retractable vinyl knives in our shop and think they're AWESOME! :-)

@Seller_lvtMm72AcUGjF, there is no fee associated with refurbishment services. This is optional - to opt in or out by going to Automated unfulfillable settings.

Repackaging services is automatic so there is no associated fee there either. If a returned unit is only unsellable because of opened or damaged packaging, and if that item is listed under eligible items, it will be repackaged. This page is out of date because repackaging services are no longer optional, but it does explain the details: FBA Repackaging Service Terms and Conditions
