Unrealistic Unfair Pricing Policy Violations

I am currently being targeted with unrealistic unfair pricing policy violations.

One example is to price a branded electrical item with a RRP of £39.99 at £6.47 or less which is ridiculous and does not even cover wholesale value.

All of these are being received from the beauty category.

Has anyone contacted seller support to report this type of case? and what was the response?.

TIA

There is a lot of information in the media about the fair pricing policy. If the find your product in breach of the pricing policy it will be hidden from the search results.

We have noticed many of our own branded products are removed from the search results therefore customers will not find them. The URL link changes all the time.

Good luck getting anywhere…

I used to sell a lampshade that has to be sent as a parcel at £7.99 (inc postage). Another seller has created an offer at 99p (inc postage). My offer no longer shows as my price is ‘too high’ according to Amazon.

The other seller must be losing money on every sale as there is no way they can sell at 99p inc postage. I even ordered one as a test and it was posted via Royal Mail. Their price is obviously a mistake that they have not noticed. But now I am unable to sell my stock.

Sellers on their own websites are able to reduce the retail price less 20% or more because of the fees associated in selling on the platform but yet the fair pricing policy appears to prevent this?

Also to monitor the above they would need to collect the sales data.
