I have been a dedicated seller on the Amazon platform for over two years, putting in countless hours and significant investment to build my business. Unfortunately, I have reached a point where I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing and troubling experience with Amazon.
Recently, my account was forcibly closed, and my products were deleted without just cause. Despite my best efforts to comply with Amazon's policies and provide all requested documentation, my account was blocked, and my products were effectively destroyed. This has been a heartbreaking experience, as I poured immense time, money, and effort into developing and marketing my products.
After careful reflection, I am convinced that my products did not violate any of Amazon's policies. Instead, I believe my products were targeted because they were in direct competition with products associated with Amazon employees or their affiliates. This situation has led me to the painful realization that the platform I once trusted may not be as fair and impartial as it claims to be.
I regret investing in a platform that has treated me, and potentially many others, unfairly. It feels as though Amazon has acted in a manner akin to scammers, exploiting the investments of small business owners and entrepreneurs like myself.
To my fellow sellers, I urge you to be cautious. We all have families to support and futures we are striving to build. Amazon's practices, as I have experienced them, can undermine those efforts in the most devastating ways. It is crucial to be aware of the risks and to consider alternative platforms where our hard work and investments are respected and protected.
Amazon has shown me that it can be a painful and unjust environment for honest sellers. Please take my story as a warning and be vigilant about the potential pitfalls you might face.
Sincerely,
