Worst decision I’ve ever made in business and for reference my slightly better business decisions include paying dishonest people who never delivered goods.
Caused us no end of grief, got a fine from the Polish tax authorities, unclear billing structure and dates we would be liable for charges, EUR 150 per country to deregister.
I would never let Amazon handle any tax affairs for us again based on our experience of this service.

Well, the statements on there are perfectly correct (and in plain English, not Amazon gobbledegook). There ARE 6 countries for which your VAT number is missing, because you don’t have one and there ARE 0 countries for which you are eligible for the service. Don’t know what you’re complaining about!
