Buy Shipping prices not matching up
Hi, I have noticed that on buy shipping that there is an issue with the prices. For instance I bought shipping with evri and at first it was showing £4.20 including VAT but then after buying it, it was showing it cost £4.90 including VAT. Wanted to ask if anyone else was having this issue. I contacted Amazon SS first they said that the increase in cost may be due to the destination of the parcel but the destination is mainland UK so they shouldn’t charge me extra. I replied stating that the destination is mainland UK so VAT should be charged at 20%. Then they replied saying that this could be due to that I input the wrong measurements or weight and when the courier got it they charged me extra but the thing is I bought the shipping for the item on friday afternoon or Saturday but I hadn’t yet dropped it off at the parcelshop so the courier could not have it. I replied saying again why is there an increase in the VAT, haven’t got a reply yet. I have stopped using buy shipping but wanted to know if anyone else is having this issue. Thanks for any help.

Go to transaction view and it should give a breakdown by selecting delivery labels purchased from amazon from the drop down

The price first shown is ex vat - the vat is in a drop down box at the bottom you have to click on

Why do you say an increase in the VAT rather than the overall price? There didn’t seem to be an indication from your message that Amazon were mentioning VAT?
