Sending Goods to Amazon Warehouse in Germany

Hi
I have been trying to send my goods to amazon warehouse in Germany . M y shipment is stuck at the custom clearance in Germany. They asked me to provide EORI Number validate at german authority. For which i went ahead and applied for one through German authority ZOLL as suggested by my courier company. But they are still not accepting it as they are saying that every commercial shippment needs to be imported by a company registered in Europe with an EORI number
I would like to know how are the other sellers from UK sending there goods to amazon WAREHOUSE IN EUROPE.
Many thanks in advance

Yes i do and i ahve already provided that to the courier company but they still keep insisting on providing an EORI number of the importer . There is no importer here . i am the one who is exporting goods and have provided them with German EORI Number too but the address of the company on German EORI number is my UK address . They are saying the address should be of European country. I just don’t get it.

That appears to be the law in Germany.

I have the same issue. I am registered for VAT in Germany, so have a valid number. I have a UK VAT number a UK EORI number and a EY EORI number. All this information along with commodity codes, country of manufacture, IP numbers, everything…but still stuck in customs. I spoke with a UPS delivery guy and he is seeing many returned parcels.

what I have understood, in order to export goods to Europe (which in our case is sending to a amazon warehouse), there needs to be a physical importer, a registered company in Europe with EORI number who will take the responsibility for importing. There are companies who are ready to provide the service but they are charging high. I would really like to know how other sellers are managing to sell shipment to Europe, especially the small sellers who can’t afford to pay fee to these dedicated importer companies
in EUROPE.

Also, are you able to fullfill orders from your end, I mean merchant fulfilled orders? If yes, how? Please help asi have been really struggling. I have stopped fulfilling orders to Europe since January, so you can imagine my sales have literally dropped to nil as I used to get more than half of my sales from Europe
