Return Return A-Z claim then another Return

Hi All.

First time poster here!! We are a small business that have sold on Amazon for a few years now, after 2 years of success we were slammed last year due to the Pandemic and suspended for around 6 months. After many submissions and finally let out of jail we started up again, this time round Amazon is very time consuming and have found many useful tips and hints from the forums, thank you very much. Anyway… to the point of my post!! Customer opened a return case, after a few messages and Authorisation of the return they have managed to open another return case, more conversing with the customer, they have opened another return case and now an A-Z claim (angry face) its for £150 item so reluctant to issue a refund without a return and as its an unpaid label I think this is the reason! I can not issue a return label as I bought through Amazon shipping (toeing the line) so unable to generate on through the click and drop service. Please help thanks very much.

I am unsure why others are saying do not use RM for a return, they are 10000% better than Hermes. They include £100 cover, and pay out. Hermes are generally useless.

If you have a RMA request, if not auto authorised, you MUST authorise, or deny within 24 hours of the request (email coming in). If you missed that, and did not provide a label, do it immediately.

You need to go to: Top Left of Amazon page are 3 horizontal lines

Click on those lines, a drop down box appears, choose: Orders, then Manage Returns

Then the returns page appears. Click on tab: Authorisation required

If auto authorised, it should have given a Hermes label at your cost.

If it needs authorisation, then you need to authorise and provide a pre-paid postage/courier label, and input its cost. (you can then deduct that cost if the item is not faulty) - confirm your address and add any notes, Click on AUTHORISE REQUEST at the bottom of the page.

If you do not authorise, or deny correctly, that is an A-Z Claim win for the Buyer

Is the case still open? What have Amazon asked you for or does it say they are investigating at the moment?

Do you know the reason for return and have you deselected the automatic returns ?

you may get a reply like I did a few days ago on an A to Z where the buyer ordered 1 item, 1 order and opened two return requests for different reasons. issued them a manual returns label via Amazon buyer/seller messages and accepted both requests via returns centre BEFORE the A to Z was opened and Amazon decided with neutral action on the case after 3 days of being “under review” they withdrew the case and asked the buyer to return the goods for the refund and didn’t take any action against us (yet)

we are now just waiting for the buyer to return the item for a refund, Hopefully your case will play out the same if you’ve provided the buyer a prepaid returns label AND accepted all their multiple return requests.

I disagree to the tune of 10,000s parcels. Everyone has their own experiences tho :man_shrugging:
