Order cancellation from Customer
So a customer has just messaged us the below message wanting to cancel the order, I am more than happy to cancel the order, it apears to have come through as a message/request from the cusotmer. If I cancel the order firstly how do I do this and secondly will this go against me in any seller performance matrix ? Thanks in advance…

On your order page there is a box at the right to cancel order. There is a dropdown where you can choose ‘Buyer cancelled’.
No need to refund or anything as they are not be charged until you mark as despatched.

Unless the cancellation request actually contains the order number then it will count against your metrics

If you have not already marked the order as dispatched you can then process the cancellation request, this does not affect seller metrics. If you have received the cancellation request after the order has been dispatched then you order can no longer be changed. The customer needs to follow the returns process upon receipt.
