Restricted Product Policy Violation
Can a mod please help:
I have been wrongfully penalised for allegedly listing ASIN B005CI2PFS (Energy Egg - Solo) which Amazon have deemed cannot be put on sale on Amazon.
However, I have not listed on this item for many, many years nor was I the creator of the listing. Why should I now be penalised for once listing against an already existing item, at a time when the listing was NOT restricted on Amazon?! I have lost points in my Account Health through no fault of my own.
Could I please get a mod to look into this with a view to removing the violation from my Health page?

If you have not listed or sold this ASIN for many years, and you were not the creator of the listing, then this does seem like something a moderator should review.
The main issue is not whether the ASIN is restricted now. The issue is whether Amazon is applying a policy violation now to historic activity from a time when the listing was apparently allowed.
It may help if you add a bit more detail, for example:
- when you last sold it
- whether the SKU has already been inactive/deleted for years
- when the violation first appeared in Account Health
- what Account Health Support told you, if anything
That would make it easier for a moderator to see whether this is a current breach or a retrospective penalty on an old listing.
If Amazon now considers the ASIN restricted, that is one thing. But penalising a seller today for matching an existing ASIN years ago, when it was not restricted and they did not create the page, seems a different issue and worth checking manually.
