Price changes tenfold when I update listing in European marketplace
Earlier this week, I got a notification that an item has no price, at all, in the German marketplace. I went it and added the price again, and realised a number of my items don’t have descriptions in different marketplaces.
I began working through adding translated descriptions, but stopped at 6 or so items to check everything went through okay.
Each ASIN I edited suddenly became inactive, the prices showing in FBA Inventory tab were all exactly ten times the normal price, and so the listings had all been suppressed due to “potential high pricing error”. I’ve tried editing listings in other European marketplaces and have had the same result.
I’ve explained this to Amazon seller support every way I know how, and that I need them to figure it out as I am unwilling to have every listing I update in another marketplace become inactive, and I assume lose it’s ranking.
They keep telling me it’s fine the items are active after I’ve manually changed the prices back, and are now asking me to essentially sabotage yet another listing and leave it suspended so they can see it in action even though I sent a screenshot. I have no faith that it will help, but I can’t leave my listings without descriptions so see no choice.
Has anyone else had this bizarre issue?

In the UK we use a full stop to mark the pounds.pence. In Europe they use a comma.
So £25.00
or € 25,00 are the same.
If you enter €25.00 it will be €25000,00

Hi Whimsy,
From what I can see all marketplaces are showing the bullet points/descriptions in their correct language French, Italian, Spanish etc… apart from Germany where they are still showing in English. If the translation isn’t being updated you will have to raise a case with SS to do it for you.
All prices appear correct now.
Hope this helps

Same problem here, and you can’t fix it. Lets save you set the price 50,00 (eu markets) its becomes 50000,00 and listing suppressed due to error in prising.
Definitely error in Amazon system
