FBM shipping and re-setting delivery times
Hi,
I wonder if someone could help me. I sell my products though FBA and on some of my products another company sells the same thing. Normally there shipping time is around 4 to 7 days, because mine is FBA I win the buy box (not all the time but a good chuck). But once a month maybe a little longer they seem to re-set their delivery timer and the shipping time is around 24 hours, but slowly over time that changes and goes out to 4 to 7 days again. The problem is when they do this, I lose the buy box for those few weeks, sales drop for a week or so then go back up again. Can anyone explain what they are doing, is there anything I can do about it?

To be honest, it’s fairly obvious what they are doing. They are simply changing the despatch time.
As to what you can do about it, not a lot. Other than reduce your prices so that you win the buy box back.

if they are able to ship within 24 hours, and they loose it and regain it again every 30 days or so, it sounds like they are offering Premium Shipping, but not keeping their eligibility

I take it nothing can be done to stop this happening, or is it worth sending Amazon support a e-mail?
