Scam email about card expired?
Hi,
I haven’t had a sale on here for months. I don’t have much listed. Been here a long time but sales have moved elsewhere but I still want the account.
The email appears genuine. It says:
You need to update your payment method
We have temporarily placed your selling account in an inactive status.
To reactivate your selling account, verify your account and update your credit card information in Seller Central.
To update your credit card information, on the “Account Info” page, go to “Payment Information”, select “Charge Methods”, and add your credit card details.
But when I log into my Amazon account (I didn’t click any links) there is no problem. The card is current. Don’t expire for years. I use it several times a week usually.
Is this an email sent in error or fishing?

If its directing you to seller central rather than asking you to click on links, it’s most likely genuine
Is the card allocated to all European sites and not just uk ?
Are there funds in the account the card is from ?

Hi, I often put myself on holiday but I had about 5/6 sales on here last year so I don’t know why SR says I stopped selling in 2019.
I went thru re verification a couple or more years ago
