This is why you got the message below.
Screenshot the cancellations, raise a case and report.
Bots have picked up the unusual activity. Demand that Amazon trace the buyer accounts comcerned that are actioning this. Good luck

go into the items they are buying and change the amount that can be ordered on one order to a low number (say 3 items per order).

This should ease it while you get it sorted.

I noticed this the other day - pending item, then my stock went to zero, Surely once an item is cancelled whilst only pending that the stock should go back up. im wondering now how many items i may have on zero that i actually still have. I see several pending items that never actually come through, so now im writing these down to see if the stock does go down or not.

Hello. I had this. It is another seller with the same item. They do it so your item eventually goes out of stock on your inventory. The moment you add the item back to your inventory the cancelled orders start again. I have reported it to Amazon several times. I also had the message that my account would be deactivated due to violations. I had to copy and paste about 50 cancelled orders in an email to Amazon to get it sorted as trying to do it over the phone is useless. They sorted it all out.

It is imperative you raise this with a case immediately as others have suggested - also if may not even be resolved with a case - Include as much information about this as possible, including the times that this is occuring

(I know this will take a long time but it will help!)

We had this exact thing - and had around 150 cancellations a day - Our account got closed/suspended automatically by amazon as they initially blamed us - and it was around 2-3weeks before we got it resolved. I had to eventually escalate it to the MD email address, as there was no update to my Case of appeal from Amazon after 11 days of all my submission.

I am very sorry to hear you are going through this but provide as much possible information as you can.

For our case, it was another seller of the item trying to bully us off the listing so they could have all the sales, it locks up your inventory, and completely depreciate our status on our account. Even when I closed the listing and refused to put any more in stock they did target other ASINS that we both stocked. I only narrowed it down to a person after this occurred as it was the only duplicate name on both ASINS.

Good Luck

After reading this thread, I thought i would check my cancelled orders tab as I rarely look at it. I seem to have exactly the same thing, 1 asin is being purchased approx every 5hrs and then cancelled. I have sent support a message giving them each of the cancelled order numbers as this is very strange behaviour. Prior to this i’d rarely get more than 2 a month.

Thank you so much for your posts - we had the same Amazon.com warning email which doesn’t make sense as we have never engaged in the behaviours they mention, so I checked our cancelled orders and there were 32 for one ASIN. This is the same ASIN for which we recently received an allegation of selling counterfeit products (successfully defended with a legitimate invoice). Clearly the other seller, who is based in China, is trying all the tricks in the book to get rid of us.

It’s still happening, so there are now literally hundreds of cancelled orders for 1 pack, so setting the max order quantity (which I have done) won’t make a difference.
I have reported it as a violation last night.
