Saturday Deliveries
Is anyone else having this issue? Today when shipping 2nd day orders, buy shipping is offering shipping options with the word Saturday next to it and the cost are extremely high. I know that I can buy the shipping outside of Amazon, but am wanting to know if anyone knows a way to fix this as in all my years I have never been advised to pay this much for shipping, especially
for FedEx who usually does 2 day shipping at a very fair rate. Please let me know if anyone has advise and I thank you all in advance

I have brought this up in other threads.
If you offer 2-day shipping and your are Premium Shipping eligible then even UPS 2-day air will not be delivered on time (mostly)
It will more than likely get there on Monday but Amazon considers Saturday a delivery day. So Monday is LATE. That will hurt your Premium shipping metrics and you could lose your ability to offer 2 day shipping.
Saturday is more because UPS charges an additional $16 for Saturday delivery.
Some options are:
Wed 2pm add $16 to your Premium shipping price so you can click "Saturday Delivery" option and Friday 2pm switch it back to normal price.
Or on Wed 2pm change the price to a Next Day price (since most of the time we are finding UPS ignores the "Saturday Delivery" option we chose and delivers it Monday anyway. So it's still late and it cost more. So we increase the price of Premium & ship "Next Day Air" from wed 2pm to fri 2pm now.

What are the Ship-By and Deliver-By dates for that order?
UPS and FedEx both offer 2nd Day Saturday delivery options on Thursday. Depending on the order requirements you may see three different FedEx 2Day shipping options:
- FedEx 2Day (Saturday) Sat, Dec 23
- FedEx 2DayA.M. Tue, Dec 26
- FedEx 2Day Tue, Dec 26
