Read onlyI was doing my morning account health check today and noticed that my VTR in the Swedish and Dutch markets has gone from not applicable to 37.5% and 50% overnight. I received no notification that there would be a change. I am a UK based seller and I always thought VTR was only applicable in your primary marketplace. I asked Seller Support and of course they just sent me a response explaining what VTR was but didn’t address the questions I was asking. Has anyone else noticed this change? How can Amazon just change this without any warning?
I sell a lot of low priced items and send these untracked as the cost of shipping would be higher than the cost of the product and would most likely go against Amazon’s pricing policy. There is also no Buy Shipping options in these markets and the other markets only offer DHL from the UK which is double or triple the price of other options I have available.
It’s like everyday Amazon puts out a new obstacle for small businesses and then they have the audacity to call themselves your selling partner and tell you they are here to help, more like here to hinder and make your life a misery. Id really appreciate some help with this as this new development is making these marketplaces an unviable option for me.

As far as I know, it's not to do with it being your primary marketplace or not, it's just about whether the shipment is domestic or international.
If your EU marketplace has a ship from address listed that is outside the country, I wouldn't expect your shipments to be included in VTR calculations.
I take it you've been trying to upload GPSR compliance documents based on some other threads you've commented in. I hope they haven't screwed something up and are treating an address put in for a product's responsible person as though it's the ship from location. Is there any way to could check that based on what shipments are appearing on the defect form?
Even if it's not that, looking at the defect report might help you figure out if there's a pattern. It's also worth trying to figure out if all the shipments you sent on that marketplace during that period are now being included in the calculation, or if it's only some.
I have had emails this morning too regarding this. I was under the impression all orders shipped from the UK to EU can go untracked/tracked. Is this now changing from January the 15th? The emails are very vague…
Just received an email saying that VTR will be applicable from 15/1/25 in pl, se and nl.
I think it’s time to stop selling on Amazon for me, going to look into an exit strategy.
Hello @Seller_29AF2b8VJNr8z,
Dashboards for EUX stores were dialed-up during out late evening in EU.
In your case you noticed this change during the gap between tech-dial up and comms going out.
This news is being posted in EU countries, here is the a link to the Swedish forum:
New Valid Tracking Rate policy for seller-fulfilled orders
Sellers should have clarity once directed to the marketplace specific seller news, or changes to program policy pages, where they will be able to see that VTR policy will now also apply to NL/SE/PL/BE stores and will be extended to EU cross-border shipments.
The materials also explicitly call out that this will not come into effect until Jan 15th 2025. So the numbers will be visible (to allow sellers to monitor and optimize VTR during this grace period), but no enforcement will take place until that date.
I hope this helps.
Regards, Spencer
