You can
For VTR you mark as self delivery

You just need to hope it’s an honest customer with it having no tracking

You could yes, but if you do and it is valuable, there is no proof of tracking/delivery. Even if you get them to sign a note. They could still claim none delivery.
Overall, it’s probably not a great idea.

Yes, you can, and the comments above are very valid.
Also, did they pay / or you charge anything for shipping ? - if so they may not be happy being charged for something that they then know has been hand-delivered.
Guess OK if you offer free shipping, but do take note of the the above reasons not to !.

I was going put something similar to the above and I see how we all assume the customer may not be honest
But lets not forget 95% people are actually honest. Its the few dishonest that ruin it for the rest.
if the item is not terribly expensive I would probably hand -deliver and take the risk - at the moment its probably a safer bet than sending with Royal Mail anyway.

Hi @NATEENA! Thanks for using Seller Forums and I wish you good luck in selling on Amazon

I’ve dropped off loads of orders locally over the years, some within an hour or so of ordering. I knock and let them know my small Amazon business is local to them and thank them for the order. I have never had a single problem.

When this topic arises there always some warnings about things that could possibly go wrong. I have delivered more than 100 items and never had any sort of problem at all.

If you live down the road it’s probably worth doing. The person isn’t going to cause any problems knowing you can literally just go around again if he or she tries it on I would very much doubt. Probably appreciate it getting to them quicker. Tracking doesn’t always make a difference to Amazon anyway with A-Z’'s and claims anyway. Happy Xmas all.

trust no one! especially buyers on Amazon! as bad as that sounds! we have had claims made, with the photo of the customer in it, holding the goods.
then claim non delivery! get the refund and then admit to having the goods, the money and we could go and f**K ourselves! Amazon refused the appeal…

All the comments on here are valid, I would just add one more observation that I have considered when the situation has arisen for me…

Unless the delivery address is closer than your local post office, depending upon the size of the item, it may cost you more in time and fuel than just posting
