Duplicate value for child ASIN - Amazon created

I have had several errors where child listings have a duplicate ASIN value. I leave all values blank when creating a new listing -- all are assigned by Amazon.

Is the only solution to delete the listing variation, re-enter and hope the new ASIN assigned is unique?
