Can anyone give me some advice please?

I’ve tried to open a Seller’s Account today and seem to be encountering issue after issue regarding bank accounts and verification.

My business bank account is with Tide (I know, I know) which doesn’t provide me with paper statements. To verify my account Amazon wants a copy of a statement. I don’t have one. Screenshots are a no-no. My personal bank account has to be in the name of the seller account. which it isn’t, so how do I move forward?

You can’t ring the Seller Help Team as there’s no telephone number.

Any ideas or solutions gratefully received.

Thanks

I’m afraid you cannot speak to Amazon by phone regarding verification issues. I dont believe Tide is accepted by Amazon for new sellers anyway. ALL your information has to match EXACTLY with what you have put on Amazon - to the last dot and comma.

A phone call wouldn’t help if your info isn’t acceptable to Amazon and it doesn’t match up.

If you only registered/opened an account today it will be quite some time before you are able to sell anyway as your account will need to be fully verified.
If you are planning on starting a business then you would be advised to have a Business bank account in the name of your business, to keep all your transactions separate from personal ones, and making it much easier when doing accounts etc.

Tried that last month - they didn’t like my credit score!

I think I may have that problem elsewhere too…
