Dangerous Goods Classification Problem

If there is anybody who can point me in the right direction I would be very thankful.

We have been FBM for 5 Years and 1 year ago stated FBA Small and Light. Since Amazon have now reduced the quantity required from 24 units we have decided to send more SKU’s to Amazon.

Now when I have converted some of our listings to FBA they have come up as ‘Hazmat’ and unable to convert to FBA. For this ASIN B09JSTQSBR I have gone to the dangerous goods classification and uploaded the document filled in with information required.

Today I have looked and it simply states Not Classified: Unable to Classify.

Is there a solution to this? As when I convert our ASINS to FBA it seems to randomly pick ones and say they are Hazmat when we know for a fact that they are now, how do we convince Amazon that they are safe  I have hunted around forums and actual Amazon but find no clues anywhere.

Thanks for any help, will save me pulling out my remaining hair!

Mine does this with any new coasters we want to send, but it goes to Hazmat review and clears in 2-5 days usually, then we can send in.

Not sure if it’s the same problem as you are having though.

Thank you all!

So on the ASIN I mentioned above I have simply uploaded the document again, but in the free text box I wrote ‘this product contains no harmful gasses or material’ and this time it cleared.

I have a lot to do so may take quite a while… but then everything on Amazon takes longer than expected

Ok, so further to my above post, I now have no hair left! I am simply getting nowhere. I have lots of ASINS that I am trying to get through exemption by uploading the spreadsheet and submitting it.

Randomly, one has been accepted, but all the others to date have been refused ‘unable to classify’

I have contacted seller support, but as usual I would have been better off sticking my head in the oven :frowning: they simply suggested to use the ASIN checker, which when I do says ‘unable to check as ASIN not enrolled for FBA’ well of course it isn’t as I am unable to enroll it as Amazon thinks it is dangerous!

Is there anything at all I can do?

I will love you forever!

Thank you. So I have just selected one of my ASINS that when I try to enrol in Small and Light it tells me it is Hazmat, so I have now tries to just simply convert it to FBA, yet again at the first stage it says that ‘The Product is under Hazmat Review’ and will take 4 days. Either way I think in 4 days I will just have a notification saying that they were unable to classify the ASIN and it will be back to square one :frowning: as you say frustrating is an understatement!
