I have a lexmark that I use for click and drop and yes the paper does sometimes jam, but you get that with most printers at some point.
What model is it and is there particular part where it jams?

For labels I use the Zebra 420, cost about £150+ VAT | Over 60,000 labels printed, labels supplied for Free from RM.
For packing slips / invoices I use a 20yr old HP Laserjet 1160, which i have had from new and has been used relentlessly.
What I don’t have is a backup plan if either one should pack up one Monday morning when we are at our busiest.

The most commonly used printer for Royal Mail Click & Drop is the Zebra GK420d thermal label printer.
Nice & small and does the job perfectly.

for laser printer, we always use HP, never let us down… get a cheap mono-ones for around 70 mark. If you got a business C&D, RM might still got an offer on for a new Zebra GK420D for around 150.
We got 2 of those as well as a Brother QL1100 which we use for FBA labels etc.
If you insist on using laser printers, make sure the labels are for laser as the glue are special for high heat but as other pointed out already, RM give you free labels and you not have to worry about single label left on a sheet.
