Royal Mail Tracked 48 Shipping
I have had a problem with buying Royal Mail tracked 48 shipping since we were told to opt into the automated shipping option on Amazon. I only did it to stop being pestered constantly with the request to opt-in.
Does anyone else have this problem and have you managed to resolve it?
Orders come through on the feed as tracked 48 but the Buy Shipping option will not let me buy the tracked 48 shipping. The option is just blank and I cannot get any help from seller support I am just getting the usual pointless replies about things I never even asked about.
That is the shipping that is set up on my Default Shipping settings but any listing using that shipping option is not working, it just will not allow me to process tracked 48. There is no shipping option showing on Buy Shipping at all.
The only way I can post these orders out is to use Tracked 24 on my order processing system, even though they are not listed as Prime on Amazon and are coming through from them on their feed as tracked 48 2nd day delivery.
This never happened until I switched on this automated shipping option, but since then it has become impossible to buy RM Tracked 48. I cannot see what is wrong, it is all set up in my Shipping settings as it always has been, but each order using the default shipping option shows no shipping option available.
There is something wrong but I cannot get anywhere with trying to resolve this, if Amazon support just continue to ignore the problem how can it be resolved?

We’ve had exactly the same issue and the only way I’ve found to resolve it is to create a new shipping template, make sure automated shipping is turned off and set shipping times to 3 - 5 days. This is no way ideal as nearly all our parcels go out as Royal Mail Tracked 48 which is two day guaranteed. Let me know if support have been helpful to resolve the issue as keen to know.

I am having this as well. I have spoken to Royal Mail about it but they have not replied.
The problem is that Amazon think tracked 48 will take 5 days.
So for items that I have despatched today I can only use tracked 48 for items that sold this morning. For anything sold over the weekend Amazon expect it to arrive by Thursday, They think tracked 48 will arrive on Friday so they won’t allow it.
I haven’t bothered speaking to seller support about is as there is no way they would understand the issue.

That may be the case, but it is simply not available to buy against the affected orders. Also, it is not just an email it is a performance notification and if it does happen my metrics are damaged, my sales crash and take weeks to recover.
Every little thing that affects performance in any way however small, is in turn linked to the visibility of the products and the level of sales. Ignoring things does not work, I find it reduces the whole performance of my account.
I don’t and never have had any issue with VTR my metrics are always at 100% for that. Every order I send is tracked and the details are added automatically as soon as the order is dispatched.
I have alwasy operated my account of the basis that I will do everything humanly possible to keep my metrics for everything at 100%. They only time I have ever had a problem with that is if I don’t use the shipping Amazon has allocated to an order. I have done a few test options to try to reduce postage costs and it damages the visibility of my products every time.
