How to Enter Germany VAT information

We are UK based seller and want to expand in EU. When we switch to Germany marketplace and try to enter VAT information It shows VAT Number entry column freeze and we are unable to enter VAT number in it. VAT_Germany

Please help us out to resolve this issue.

Are you registered for Tax and VAT in Germany? You cannot use your UK details - you need to register in Germany.

DE is the country prefix identifier for an EU VAT number - (DEutschland)
