Royal Mail Signed For INR COVID-19 No Signature Help Please
I’ve had an INR claim where the item shows as delivered but customer says not received. Royal Mail are no longer getting signatures because of the Covid-19 and I have no idea how to defend this claim.
Any advice would be welcomed

Royal Mail take a picture of the door showing the parcel delivered on the door step. They wait for the customer to open the door and then explain to the customer signature is not required and they will be signing on behalf of the customer. If you have any problems follow the Royal Mails claims process.
The same is happening at the Chemist when you collect your prescription. Need to stand two metres apart.

Amazon has said it is ok with how RM and other couriers are signing for stuff. RM should also have a grid ref of where it was signed for. Ring RM and ask them to provide you with the details then throw that back at the customer. There is always the possibility that they actually didn’t receive the parcel though, but the grid ref should sort that out.
