Using UPS - shipment held for future date?

I’ve sent a small box of stock via Amazon preferred partner UPS and for the last two days on the tracking it’s saying held for a future delivery date? Anyone know why this would be?

Fulfillment centre full or too busy. They’ll call for it when they’re ready.

Nothing you can other that sit & wait and hopefully not get too annoyed.

It’s waiting for Amazon to give UPS an appointment for the trailer to be delivered to their warehouse. Happens all the time, usually for a maximum of 48 hours (excluding weekends).
