Using Parcelforce as a carrier for prime orders

Hi Guys,
Amazon has informed me I cant use Parcelforce as my carrier for prime orders. They offer a better service than DPD, I can send emails and SMS messages to the buyer so they can track there parcel and get a timed delivery, they are also cheaper than DPD, so why will Amazon not allow me to use them? is this anything to do with DPD giving Amazon commission on the parcels they deliver?
They will allow us to send with Royal Mail who own Parcelforce, but are more expensive and will not allow me to send larger parcels.
Has anyone had the same problem? and is there a better solution?
Thanks
Kevin

When you sign up for Prime you have to use the Amazon approved carriers. These are RM, DPD or Amazon Logistics.

DPD service options are identical to Parcleforce - emails and SMS with timed deliveries - and pricing should just be a case of negotiating a decent contract rate.
