Have My Brand Registry Incentives Been Activated Without a Product Launch?
Hello everyone,
I registered my brand with Amazon Brand Registry several months ago but have not launched my first product yet. I currently have a listing that is inactive and has never been launched or made live for sale.
I'm concerned about the time-constrained benefits (such as advertising credits, referral bonuses, and promotional opportunities) that are offered to new sellers under the Brand Registry program. Specifically, I would like to know:
- Does the activation of these benefits depend on the approval date of the Brand Registry, or do they only start once a product is launched and listed as live?
- Is my inactive listing (which has never been live I believe) sufficient to trigger the start of these benefits, or do I need to have an active product?
- If the benefits have already been activated, how can I check their status or remaining time in my account?
- I would appreciate any insights or advice from those who have faced a similar situation or who are familiar with how the timelines for these incentives work.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi there @Seller_mR1cmWtlOZ3ft!
For your first question, new sellers who complete brand registry within six months of listing the first offer and are identified as the first brand owner with Amazon Brand Registry qualify for these benefits. So if what I'm reading is accurate, you should qualify here!
Our New Seller Incentives page has a lot of helpful information so I recommend reviewing that and then let me know if you still have remaining questions. If you qualify for benefits, they should show up in their respective tools/portals when attempting to use them!
