Which Mods are still active on UK forum ?
Having replied to several posts, it is obvious that many of the mods who we thought were active, obviously are not any longer, and many with no activity for months, even years, so why are their names still appearing on the dropdown ?
As the only way to get the attention of mods to look into SS cases for us, it would be really helpful to know which mods ARE still operating on the UK forum, and those that are no longer around, for their names to be deleted from the dropdown. Surely this is something that Amazon should and must do ?
Another thing I have noticed when trying to start this new thread is that NONE of the categories or suggested tags are relevant for forum issues, so have had to use a random category, and tag !
I will tag in some of the ones who seem to have had some recent activiity, and hope that at least one of you will respond, and address the issues that I have mentioned.

I have also just noticed that Spencer has not been active for a month, and Ezra for 4 months, so are they all leaving ?!

NONE of the categories or suggested tags are relevant for forum issues,
I noticed this a few days ago. I'm afraid this is another deliberate ploy to make it difficult for sellers to use the forum. Sadly I have to say that I think that the forum will cease to exist in the not too distant future.
Does Bezos still have anything to do with the running of Amazon? It seems to me that another well known American seems to have taken charge. "What I say goes. I'm only interested in me and a few selected friends. I'm right about everything so there is no point in any of you sellers making complaints. "

Hi @Seller_ZVAz3d5lZuGid,
Thank you for your message and for being an engaged member of our seller community. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention and would like to address your questions.
Our forum support team operates globally to ensure sellers receive timely assistance across all time zones and marketplaces. We're a worldwide team that reviews every post on the forums—whether you tag us or not. While tagging community managers might feel like a way to get faster attention, we monitor all posts, not just on who's been tagged.
For the most efficient support on the forums:
- Create clear, detailed posts about your specific situation
- Use relevant category tags to help route your question appropriately
- Include any error messages, screenshots, or case IDs when applicable
- Any community manager with the official Amazon badge can assist you
You'll continue to see both familiar faces and new team members providing support. All of our community managers are trained to help with your inquiries, regardless of who responds to your post.
Please let me know if you have follow up questions.
All the best,
Indy

I had opened more than a thousand case over a period of 10 months with no response from Amazon. Finally, took matters into my own hands and now my issue is solved but very disappointing and time wasting!
Indy_Amazon
@Seller_MOo2WZa8xRMO3 I'm glad to hear your issue was eventually resolved. Are you still needing assistance on your original thread?
Seller_MOo2WZa8xRMO3
thank you for responding. Not now that god helped me after 9 months but I dearly request you to please respond when you are mentioned. I’ll mention you myself.
Seller_ZVAz3d5lZuGid
@Indy_Amazon - thank you for replying. I have to say that your comment about the team operating globally seems a bit strange when many issues will be marketplace specific. Also interested to hear that the team does review every post on the forum, whether a mod tagged or not - must be a huge task with so many marketplaces.

Could you please take a look at the thread I created Indy? I haven't gotten response from a mod in the two weeks it has been up. https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/seller-forums/discussions/t/a5e9f2ac-5e3c-405a-a8b2-c268d31fe6b3?

Tagging a MOD, has been requested previously, and seemed to get a faster response, until lately.
Looking at the Forum for the last 1 month, we thought you had all left and Amazon were moving over to AI instead of human MODS. I am glad to hear that has not happened (yet).
Perhaps, you can look over the last 5 weeks of forum issues as i am sure many still outstanding.
Also, who are the current MODS on Amazon UK?
(Previous MODS have given a list).
Please, try and persuade Amazon to have a UK MODS Catch-All - as that would help when raising a new urgent issue and needed to be actioned by a MOD, rather than just general comments.
To also suggest: Q&A to 1 side as several general issues are raised over-and-over again, and easy to resolve (generally for new Sellers), with an easy link, so other long-in-the-tooth Sellers can say read this, and a link given.

Hi DigitelTechnologyLtd,
"SAN FRANCISCO, Jan 22 (Reuters) - Amazon (AMZN.O), opens new tab is planning a second round of job cuts next week as part of its broader goal of trimming some 30,000 corporate workers, according to two people familiar with the matter.
The company in October cut some 14,000 white-collar jobs, about half of the 30,000 target first reported by Reuters. The total this time is expected to be roughly the same as last year and could begin as soon as Tuesday, the people said, who asked not to be identified because they were not authorized to discuss Amazon’s plans."

PS "Amazon has told workers of a fresh round of global job cuts in an email that appears to have been sent in error.
Workers at Amazon Web Services (AWS) received a meeting invitation from a top executive on Tuesday for the following day – subsequently cancelled – that also contained a draft email.
The message erroneously said the affected employees in the US, Canada and Costa Rica had already been told they had lost their jobs.
It was signed by Colleen Aubrey, a senior vice-president of applied AI solutions at the company’s cloud computing arm AWS, while the layoffs were referred to in the email as “Project Dawn”.
“Changes like this are h*rd on everyone,” Aubrey wrote in the email, which was seen by multiple news outlets including Reuters and Bloomberg. “These decisions are difficult and are made thoughtfully as we position our organisation and AWS for future success.”
The email referred to a separate message from Amazon’s human resources boss, which did not appear to have been sent.
Amazon had announced in October it was cutting 14,000 corporate roles. In recent days, several media outlets had reported that the Seattle-based online retail multinational was planning a second round of layoffs, but this has not been confirmed by the company.
Amazon has been trying to reverse a pandemic hiring spree in an effort to cut costs and slim down its huge operation, which employs about 1.5 million people worldwide. Its cloud computing and stores units were reported to be the divisions that would be hit in the latest round of layoffs.
Amazon’s chief executive, Andy Jassy, has previously warned white-collar workers at the company that their jobs could be taken by AI in the next few years.
Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment."

PS Apparently the phrase "h*rd on" is Inappropriate Language

"Also, who are the current MODS on Amazon UK?"
That was the whole point of my original post ! - yet has never been answered, though in the past I do recall there being a list of current mods, though that is VERY out of date now as many have obviously left, but I do reacall that @Indy_Amazon said
" In spite of the rise of AI in the global landscape, I can confirm we are still very real people (fully acknowledging this is what a bot may say, but last I checked, I'm human)".
I also recall @Indy_Amazon stating
"Our forum support team operates globally to ensure sellers receive timely assistance across all time zones and marketplaces. We're a worldwide team that reviews every post on the forums—whether you tag us or not. While tagging community managers might feel like a way to get faster attention, we monitor all posts, not just on who's been tagged.that they all work across all marketplaces"
- which to me seems really absurd as each marketplace will have its own indivisdual problems, and can the mods REALLY know about the issues in all other marketplaces ??!!
(bold mine for emphasis !!)
Seller_IQo80d99W2DzP
I did note that, BUT, it seems when a MODS was tagged previously, they were aware that help was needed, and not just a rant, or asking other Sellers for info
(As you say a list was asked by a number of us, including yourself, but no reply as yet from any MOD)

Hello @JillyB,
I apologize for the delayed response to your post.
Having replied to several posts, it is obvious that many of the mods who we thought were active, obviously are not any longer, and many with no activity for months, even years, so why are their names still appearing on the dropdown?
This is Jonathan from Amazon and I want to provide you with some guidance based on your post.
I understand your concerns about moderator visibility and the challenges you're experiencing when trying to get support for your Seller Support cases. Let me clarify how our forum support system works to help set the right expectations moving forward.
Our forum support team operates globally to ensure sellers receive timely assistance across all time zones and marketplaces. We have a worldwide team that reviews every post on the forums, whether you tag a moderator or not. While tagging community managers might feel like a way to get faster attention, the reality is that we monitor all posts regardless of who has been tagged.
The dropdown list you're seeing reflects our broader team structure, but what's most important to understand is that any community manager with the official Amazon badge can assist you with your inquiries. You may see both familiar faces and new team members providing support, and all of our community managers are trained to help with your questions.
For the most efficient support on the forums, I recommend focusing on creating clear, detailed posts about your specific situation. Use relevant category tags to help route your question appropriately, and include any error messages, screenshots, or relevant details when applicable. This approach will help ensure your concerns are addressed promptly by whichever team member reviews your post first.
Regarding the category and tag issue you mentioned when starting this thread, I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your feedback helps us improve the forum experience for all sellers.
Is there a specific Seller Support case or account health issue you're currently facing that we can help you with? If you share more details about your situation, the forums community and I are here to provide guidance and support.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Regards,
Jonathan.
