Would apporeciate a little help please
Hi all
I listed some incense on all amazon uk/eu sites. I got an email regarding one particular incense from Amazon Italy saying that camphor products are banned in Italy. I closed the listing but still got the account suspended. I emailed basically saying I made a mistake im sorry I wont do it again but they were not happy with that and I got this back
Dear Seller,
We received your submission, but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time. A review of your account indicates that you have listed camphor.
You may not list or sell this product type on Amazon.it
I deleted the listing and apart from apologizing I don’t know what else to do. Is there any sort of template I can look at to get some inspiration
I have gone round and round on restricted goods chemicals etc. I cant find anything anywhere that says anything about camphor anywhere. I asked them to point me in the right direction but got nowhere.
Any help would be much appreciated

You basically need to acknowledge the error, then demonstrate that you have learned by this, and won’t do it again.
What exactly have they told you in the original email from them?

I imagine you need to submit a plan of action explaining why you didn’t know it was banned, how you have educated yourself on what is and isn’t allowed, and how, going forward, you’ll keep up to date on regulations to make sure it doesn’t happen again.
They want to make sure that you are taking responsibility and not relying on them to tell you what you can and cannot sell.

Thanks
I will put something together over the weekend

It was just an email saying i was not aware it was not allowed, I had closed it and it wont happen again

I wonder if OP should mention that he is selling incense, not a biocidal product? Or would that not make any difference?

When pleading with Amazon be clear to demonstrate that you will research for restrictions as a matter of course and not assume that just because the product is available in the catalogue you are able to sell in all marketplaces and if you are in doubt or require clarification you will seek further assistance.
