Running out of stock
I will probably run out of stock for one of my products soon and there is nothing I can do about it. Increasing the price dramatically (70-80%) didn’t really help… I am still making plenty of sales. Any advice on what do to? Will I get penalised by Amazon for running out of stock? Or will it only affect the sales rank of the product?

Sales rank will suffer since other competitors will still be selling. You may also find you take a hit in search results once back in stock.

We are in the same boat with one of our products this year. A new line that we didnt expect to do so well in its first year. We put the price up a little to try avoid running out of stock completely but sales actually increased. You will lose ranking position but if you can get them back in stock quick enough and the product is fairly unique, without many competitors you should be straight back up there in no time.
