Changing my product title to increase traffic to my listing - Good or bad idea?
Hi,
The ASIN is mine and has been on sale for some time - recently relaunched after running out of stock
My sell-through rate needs to be improved and Amazon has suggested revising my keywords to help get more page views.
I’ve reduced my price and restarted some PPC ads.
I’m actually ranking quite well organically for a couple of my main keywords and sales seem to be heading nearer my monthly forecast.
My question is - Is it wise to revise my title now with (what I believe to be) better keywords while keeping the ones I’m ranking for in the title?
Or is changing the title too much of a risk to my existing ranking?
Does anyone have any other ideas to improve the traffic to my listing?
Thank you.

Keywords are dealt with separately within the listing itself. Use the edit function to find them.
So have you added these, instead of relying on what’s written in the title?
As to changing the title itself, as long as you are not changing it materially, to reflect a different product etc, then it should be find to do so.

I have found that trying to just tweak just a few words in product titles has been impossible. Although the changes appear in my seller central, they don’t update on the Amazon website. I have spoken to seller support several times and all of the solutions they have suggested don’t work. If you manage to do this, please post here how you did it.
