Amazon DD+7 POLICY

Amazon’s reserve policy is significantly limiting cash flow and making it harder to grow. I’ve spoken with many sellers who are starting to move to other platforms, especially those offering DD+1 payouts if certain criteria are met. If Amazon introduced something similar, it would make a huge difference.

Right now, it feels like Amazon isn’t prioritizing its selling partners, and the situation keeps getting worse. If this continues, more sellers will likely leave for platforms that better support their cash flow needs. On top of that, deducting postage costs from the available balance instead of the deferred balance only adds more pressure. Something needs to change.

@KJ_AmazonA very good morning

Amazon should NOT triggered this DD+7 policy. Even though we are prepared about this implemented policy now is causing serious issues with cash flow as follow:

1. We, the sellers, small or huge companies here, we are facing issues paying our suppliers

2. We are having sagnificant issues paying our employees, bring new products in, and the major issues we cannot pay our taxes to each of us authorities.

Please give us a solution, as banks also, cannot do loans to proceed with our operations

Although we understand your decision by taking the measures, it is a huge problem as mentioned above

they are basically holding £1000's indefinately until you stop selling on their platform and the busier you get the more this increases

and the worst part about it, the 'Buy Postage' comes straight off your balance and not the Deferred Payments

Thank you so very much, but please keep continue passing our concerns to the relevant team. All the sellers we demand for Amazon to relax its measures taken for the DD+7 Policy. Can you all at Amazon do something about? Although, we understand your decision this policy is very unfair and most sellers will leave the Amazon platform due to this. Ebay, Etsy and other marketplaces are not acting in this way. Please reconsider your decisions

Hello KJ_Amazon,

It's not just @Seller_171whtfaYxvhd & @Seller_2EjL88l0NNfWJ who dislike DDE+ 7 - in fact I don't know of ANY seller who wants it! We have only put up with it because Amazon have insisted that it be applied

Most of us have been selling on Amazon's platform for many years with some success and with very few if any refunds or charge-backs, but our history is not taken into account with this system but it is applied to all.

If it was applied to new merchants for their first 6 months or year, that would be understandable, but it is the application to all that is most galling

Thank you for sharing our comments with the appropriate teams

Probably given just a few hundred pounds of refunds in 13 years of trading - if that.

In a matter of days that figure has been smashed with money that Amazon are now holding.

It's a shocking and unjustified policy which hopefully one day is challenged sucessfully

We never experience such a rough policy over the course of 12 years we are here. Indeed, is shocking for all of us. I'm 50 years old and never thought that i would straggling not to go on bankruptcy. It is very unfair what is currently happening.

@KJ_Amazon Thank you for your response, but this issue needs immediate action, not another delayed review. By the time Amazon responds, businesses have already suffered financial damage and cash flow disruption.

There is no justification for holding funds for DD+7 for established sellers with proven track records. Other platforms release funds the next business day, while Amazon sellers wait DD+7 plus another 3 to 5 business days for bank transfers.

Why is Amazon taking so long to release money that already belongs to sellers? These delays are excessive, unfair, and far behind industry standards.

We strongly urge Amazon to remove the DD+7 policy for established businesses and implement faster payouts immediately.
