Royal Mail delivery issue

Hi,

Has anyone else seen a sudden spike in Royal Mail issues in the last couple of 2-3 weeks? We have had multiple deliveries going missing and no delivery confirmation. Replacements sent are also coming up with the same generic message on the Royal Mail portal "An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item".

A 24-hour tracked item sent yesterday is showing "We are expecting it".

It's a cause of concern how we have so many 'item not received' requests from multiple days in the last few weeks, more than we have ever done in a whole year.

Has anyone else seen this spike?

Hi,

Sorry I can't help. I'm not seeing this from our Account. Over the last 30 days Royal Mail have 99.99% of items Scanned on the day of collection, and 97.7% delivered on-time.

Delivered on-time rate is about normal, but the on-time shipment rate is higher than average for Royal Mail.
