Help with our German account re-activiation. We are desperate!

We first listed a product ASIN: B09653D13M onto Amazon.co.uk, it was then automatically listed onto our Germany account because of the Build International Listings/PAN EU Marketplace tool, which we didn’t know was active and were not properly educated on how to use this. We didn’t notice that the item had automatically listed on the Germany account, as we don’t use that account.

This product was restricted in Germany so they closed down our account (it was a candle). We never sold this product or have ever sold any product in Germany (or intent to).

Amazon is now changing our photos, not letting us add new brands, not letting us make changes to our listings in the UK until this issue is resolved on our Germany account and we get it re-activated. However we have submitted various plans of action and requested help many times upon receiving the same generic response.

We have began working with the Strategic Account Services in Essentials since 1st April 2024 and they can no longer make changes or help us with building our business until the German account gets reactivated.

We have hired consultants to see if they can fix the issue.

We have undergone training to make sure we are always abiding by amazons policies.

Our business is being dramatically effected and listings getting destroyed. They seem to have no reasoning or ability to look past a genuine human error.

We are requesting to please have my DE store activated, for us to work on my home marketplace UK.

Die einzige Möglichkeit das zu lösen, ist es einen Maßnahmeplan einzureichen der akzeptiert wird. Daran führt kein Weg vorbei und es ist nicht nötig zu beschreiben was nun alles nicht funktioniert ...Auch die Mods hier im Forum werden dir nicht helfen können. Die Erstellung eines Maßnahmeplans kann sehr aufwendig sein und ist immer auf den konkreten individuellen Fall bezogen. Ohne die Details dazu und zu deinem bisherigen Maßnahmeplänen wird dir hier niemand helfen können (und kostenlos einen zu erstellen wird wahrscheilich gar niemand bereit sein)

Here’s Sharon from Amazon. I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your German account.

According the information shared in your post, it seems like the issue was caused by a restricted Products violation or at least this the most common type of violation received, when you have the tool Build International Listings active.

It is important to know that the Build International Listings Tool, DOES NOT check if the listings transferred comply with all applicable laws of the target stores.

If the account was blocked for this reason, you may have to submit an appeal consisting in 3 main parts: Root cause of the problem/ violations, Corrective measures and Preventative measures.

- For the root cause is important that you show full understanding of what caused the problem, violation type and to name the policy (restriction) and list of affected ASINs.

- For corrective measures, is important to check not only the ASINs blocked for the restriction but also the entire inventory and mention this step in the appeal. If you find other ASINs in violation, remove all them from your inventory and share the list through the appeal.

- For preventative measures, please be very specific and clarify how, who and when preventative measures will be implemented.
