Certification? General Product Safety Regulations GPSR
Hi all, does anyone know what the General Product Safety Regulations GPSR is? I have researched it but am confused. It is not very clear, is it a certification?
Basically, I want to sell USB baby changing bags on the UK marketplace, and have been told by trading standards that I need to “comply with The General Product Safety Regulations 2005.” Not really sure how, do I ask my China supplier if they have a certificate for this?
I am assuming that I also need CE certification as the bag has a USB port. But I forgot to mention that part to trading standards, hence why I don’t think they mentioned it.

Have you read the .gov page for this?
Do not rely on anything your Chinese supplier may say unless he backs it up with incontrovertible evidence and the required documentation.
Otherwise simply have a sample sent to you and then have this [these] tested in an EU lab to ensure compliance with UK regulations.
