Recommend Amazon Accountants?
Hi,
Can anyone recommend any experienced trusted Amazon accountants? (Firm)
We are losing faith with our current accountants and need some with real experience. Amazon can be difficult with all its channels and reporting.
We sell in EU and NA too.
Any recommendations very welcome

Afraid you won’t really find many, there are accountancy firms that will advise on certain aspects of Euro Accountancy but you will struggle with representation.
The likes of Avalara, Avask will do filing etc but will not give you any advice, in fact will state they are not allowed to offer it.
Also when you have issues you have to be Country specific. What issues are you having, I maybe able to help you if I understand what aspect is causing you an issue?
Amazon UK VAT is quite easy (because this is my home market and understand UK VAT) but any UK accountant should be able to handle anything required for VAT. If you want someone to cover the whole lot, then this will be a lot more difficult as accountants generally do not go out of their comfort zones in their own territories.
Amazon VAT services do supply all the information you need to hand to the accountants.

I use Ecommerce Accountants - They’re based in London and are former Amazon sellers themselves. https://www.ecommerceaccountants.co.uk/ - Great guys with a wealth of knowledge and experience. They’re not the cheapest but let’s face it, you get what you pay for and in the world of AMZ accounting, i’d rather pay more and have an easier life :). Hope this helps

I do Private Label, have done for 10 years - but my business is waining. My competition is the Chinese, and its incredibly hard to compete price wise anymore. Add the crazy ppc and its frighting.
I have been looking at drop-shipping - trying to work out if it could actually work on Amazon. Seen a ton of videos but its all selling courses and likely fabricated stories of success !
With your business model - no ppc sounds heaven sent.
Obviously I have absolutely no idea what you sell so hopefully you don’t mind advising me, but if you sell a branded product, are there not many sellers in the buy-box doing the same?
How do you compete in this way, as advertising wont work, and prices will be the same?
