Best deal eligibility
Hi all,
I'm hoping to get some guidance — and ideally a moderator review — on a Best Deal eligibility issue I believe was caused by a single mid-run deal cancellation.
Here's the timeline:
I had a Best Deal set up and running live on one of my ASINs. Mid-run, I received advice from my PPC consultant that the deal sequencing wasn't correct and that I should cancel it. I followed that advice and cancelled the deal while it was active and visible to customers.
I was not aware at the time that cancelling a live deal could trigger a block on future deal eligibility. I have since found Amazon's own help page (Seller Central Help > Increase Sales > Amazon Deals > Cancel a Deal), which explicitly states:
"To avoid paying a fee or being blocked from creating future deals, we recommend that you cancel your deal at least 25 hours before the start time."
Had I been aware of this, I would never have cancelled mid-run. The cancellation was a genuine mistake made on the basis of strategic advice, not an attempt to abuse the deals system.
For context on my account:
- Amazon's Choice badge on the affected ASIN
- 1,000+ reviews at 4.5 stars
- Valid RRP/reference price displayed with strikethrough
- 300+ units sold in the past month
- No policy violations or account health issues
- FBA, Prime eligible
I have raised this with Seller Support (Case ID:
12255334902 ) and was told they are unable to manually adjust deal eligibility from their end.
Given that this was a single, isolated cancellation made in error — and that my account and listing metrics are strong — I'd like to ask whether a moderator is able to review this and escalate for the eligibility to be restored.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Hi @Seller_hPCGFKawxL7oT,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums!
While I unfortunately cannot guarantee that the outcome will be different, I have escalated case # 12255334902 internally for further review. Someone from that escalation team may reach out to you, so please keep an eye on your case log for any potential correspondences. I will be sure to let you know once I hear any updates on my end.
All the best,
Jameson
