Closed listing still appears
So I find a product to sell with good margin, check on the mobile app that I can sell it, purchase it and then try to list it, bearing in mind I’m new to this and it is taking some time. I get around to the product in question and it comes up in some strange way, I can add it to my inventory but then I couldn’t do anything with it and it hardly seemed a complete listing but it was what was coming up with the barcode. I send feedback to Amazon but don’t hear anything back.
So anyway I give up with that product on Amazon as I’ve got bigger fish to fry. I’ve got rid of the product elsewhere and it never got anywhere near Amazon. I deleted the listing as I was never going to use it and got sick of looking at it. Anyway then about a month later I notice a policy violation warning on my performance tab, it’s this product and it is saying action I need to take is close the listing.
So I click ‘Close Listing’ and it disappears. However, when I go back to the performance tab, the details and the same page are still there. Will it ever go away? I don’t want to talk about it with Amazon it is a product that I no longer even have.

Hello @stores81,
Thanks for reaching out. From the information you shared, I understand you are referring to the restricted product policy alert on your account health dashboard.
We continually make adjustments to the systems we use to detect restricted products. Occasionally, the system may remove products that are allowed on the site. This may be due to incomplete or inaccurate product information, or simply a system error. This happens irrespective of having sales on the said product or not.
If you have already deleted the listing from your inventory page, you need not worry. The account health dashboard will get updated in a few days. There is no manual intervention here.
Best,
Ruth.

Try delete listing instead of close listing
