Under 18 and selling through parents with permission

I am 17 years old and don’t want to wait till im 18 to start making money from amazon. My Dad has given me permission to use his information to make an account.
I understand that you need to set up a sole trader account and register for hmrc. When i make the sole trader account will it be okay to set it up using my own name instead of my dads and is this okay with amazons policies.

I’m assuming you are talking about creating a new account as your current one may still be deactivated. I wouldn’t bother until you turn 18 - the way you are going you are just making things so much harder for yourself and could face being removed from Amazon permanently. Even once you turn 18 you would have to use the existing account, not create a new one.

In short, no Amazon are not okay with people registering accounts using someone else’s identity to get around their policies.
